F.Method of Application
1)Place the patient in a supine position, ensuring a proper head tilt back by removing the pillow.
2) Remove any visible foreign objects from the mouth and throat, such as dentures, to clear the airway.
3) Insert the oropharyngeal airway to prevent tongue bites and ensure the passage remains unobstructed.
4)Position yourself behind the patient's head, tilting it back while lifting the forehead to keep the airway open.
5) Secure the mask tightly over the patient's nose and mouth, holding it firmly with your thumb and forefinger, while placing the remaining fingers on the forehead.
6) Use the other hand to squeeze the respiratory ball, pushing air into the lungs. Ensure regular squeezing to provide adequate inhale/exhale times (Adults: 12~15 times/min; Children: 14~20 times/min; Infants: 35~40 times/min)) Each ventilation should last between 1 to 2 seconds for optimal efficiency.
7)For patients with an air tube or tracheotomy, remove the mask and connect directly to the tracheotomy joint, following standard operational procedures. .
8)Rescuers must monitor the following indicators for normal ventilation:
a. Observe the rise and fall of the patient's chest (indicating effective compression).
b. Monitor the color of the lips and face through the mask's transparent section.
