The simple respirator comprises an elastic breathing capsule, a combined neck, an air pocket, a mask, an oxygen tube, a mouthpiece, and an oropharyngeal airway.

F. Method of Application
1)Ensure the client is supine with the pillow removed and the head tilted back.
2) Carefully remove any visible foreign objects from the mouth and throat, such as dentures.
3) Insert the oropharyngeal airway to prevent the tongue from biting or falling.
4)The rescuer should be positioned behind the patient's head, tilting it back while lifting the lower forehead to keep the airway open.
5) Secure the mask tightly over the nose and mouth, holding it firmly with the thumb and forefinger, while the rest of the fingers press on the forehead.
6) Use the other hand to squeeze the ball, pushing air into the lungs. Squeeze regularly to provide adequate inhale/exhale time (Adult: 12~15 times/min; Children: 14~20 times/min; Infant: 35~40 times/min).Adult: 12~15 times/min; Children: 14~20 times/min; Infant: 35~40 times/min)Each ventilation should last 1 to 2 seconds.
7)If an air tube or tracheotomy is present, remove the mask and connect it directly to the tracheotomy joint, then follow the standard operation procedures. .
8)Rescuers must be aware of the following indicators of normal ventilation:
a. Observe the patient's chest for rising and falling movements corresponding to the compressed sphere.
b. Check the color of the patient's lips and face through the transparent part of the mask.
c. Look for mist in the mask during exhalation.
